Hector Torres is an experienced and seasoned veteran of Real Estate Development and Construction with over Ten Million Square feet of High Rise Development completed over his 30-year career in South Florida.


Mr. Torres is the founder and Managing Partner of Delatorres Industries and Delatorres Capital – rms providing International Real Estate Development processes locally to International Investors. Over


the past three decades, he has developed some of downtown Miami’s greatest iconic buildings such as the 2 Million Square Foot twin towers – Everglades on the Bay – and the 68 Story 1.2 Million square foot mixed use Marquis Residences, Hotel & Spa. His passion for real estate development and construction has led him to win prestigious awards from the Construction Association of South Florida for – Best in Class major project over $ 200 Million and Harvard Graduate School of Design – Best in Class Financial Engineering for a Master Plan Community – Class IV AMDP.


Mr. Torres has studied Real Estate and Construction Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts, New York City and Florida earning him various Florida Department of Professional and Business Licenses such as a “Certi ed General Contractor” “Registered Real Estate Appraiser” and “220 Property & Casualty Insurance adjustor”.


Mr. Torres is a Harvard University Graduate School of Design Alumni holding a Certi cation in Advanced Development and Management in Real Estate. He currently serves as an expert lecturer at the University of Miami School of Law where he lectures in “Problem Solving” to the Juris Doctor LLLM students. He is also actively involved in mentoring Harvard University MBA students seeking to complete their studies in Real Estate Development.


Mr. Torres has also earned a “Guardian ad Litem” certification from the Supreme Court of Florida where he passionately represents underprivileged children within the care of the Department of Children Services.
