Project Description

An affiliate of OceanLand purchased the site, which is currently vacant, from Florida East Coast Industries (FECI), the owner and developer of the Brightline passenger rail network. The site is located within the Downtown Core character area of the Fort Lauderdale Downtown Master Plan, meaning there are no specified height or residential density restrictions imposed by zoning.

The site is fully approved for the development of a 41-story, 392 unit Class-A multifamily building with 8,874 square feet of retail. This will be the only residential project directly adjacent to the entrance of the Fort Lauderdale Brightline station, and will be connected directly to the Brightline station via a covered pedestrian walkway.

Additionally, the site is located in a Qualified Opportunity Zone, making it eligible for tax-advantaged development.
